Last week Class 4 began their lessons at Queen’s Sports Club in Halifax. The lessons will run on Thursday afternoons until half-term. Class 3 are also learning to play tennis. They are visiting Park Tennis Club in Hove Edge on Friday afternoons.
Providing 
these lessons is possible because of the Sports Premium Funding which we receive. This covers the cost of coaching and court hire with parents’ continued support of the 100 Club covering transport costs.
With the temperature soaring our coach, Simon, decided to move our lesson to the indoor courts. As this was the first session, Simon, focussed on the forehand. Next week we will begin learning the more difficult backhand stroke.
